Auf Weidersen, Carrie

She'd always been afraid of them. She didn't like their long legs, the little hairs that made them more real. The way they quickly crept across the floor, the way they hid in corners. They were always there but she'd never really thought about them, it only feared her when she saw them.

That's why now, in a dark corner of the town, she was afraid to cross over the bridge because there was a spider there. They'd arranged to meet here. It was their favourite meeting place and everyone knew it was. It was like their den, their treehouse, their clubhouse.

She felt her heart racing, the overwhelming nausea biting at her stomach as she stared hollowly at the creature. It wasn't going to be moving anytime soon.

What she hadn't realised that it wasn't real. It was plastic. Simply bought from a joke shop. It had been put there for a reason...

From behind she was jumped, a hand covering her mouth to stop her from screaming. "Boo..." The voice whispered in her ear, warm breath teasing her ear, flesh tickling her flesh. "It's time to say goodnight, Carrie."

***
The girl struggled against the binds. The makeshift coffin was just the right size for her. It was almost as if it had been made for her and that's when she realised it had been, her death had been planned.
A shadow covered her and she looked up, her eyes widening in horror as she tried to scream. Her voice being muffled by the gag that had been forced into her small mouth. A smile crept across the shadows face. "Yours is the best, Carrie. Be proud. It'll be known forever..." The voice drawled.
A plastic box was revealed and Carrie could see them scuttling around. She knew what they were and could feel her heart racing as she shook her head, her eyes pleaing for freedom... For them not to be put in her coffin.
The shadow just laughed before opening the box, tipping them out on her chest. "Sweet dreams, Carrie. You'll need them."
A large board was put over her, cutting out the light. The sound of drilling. She'd been locked in.
She could feel her pulse racing, her heart soaring. Blood pumped in her ears. She could feel them crawling over her, minding their own business but she was still scared.
Tears squeezed free from her eyes, a warm sensation rushed between her legs and she knew that too much of this torture was going to kill her.
***
It took fifteen hours before the struggling stopped, her muffled cries to calm down. They knew she was gone. Lack of oxygen, fear.
Spiders were the murderer technically here.
